William Clay Ford (1925-2014) was Henry Ford's grandson and the youngest of Edsel and Eleanor Clay Ford's four children. As a teenager, he became proficient at tennis. When he attended Yale University (1945-1949), he captained both the varsity soccer and tennis teams, earning seven varsity letters.
