This book recounts the history of American Austin and American Bantam vehicles. American Austin made a tiny, fuel-efficient car during the 1930s -- its size was continuously made fun of in cartoons. The company reorganized in the late 1930s (Bantam) and was instrumental in the creation of the jeep.
