Artifact Overview
J. B. Judkins Company built coaches and carriages in the late 1800s. But as the gasoline engine replaced the horse, the company switched to manufacturing automobile bodies. Judkins built car bodies for several auto manufacturers -- many early car companies assembled their vehicles using parts made by other companies. This promotional book from about 1923 documents the history the Judkins Company.
