Juntos con Romney Button, 2012

Artifact Overview

In 2012, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney reached out to various ethnic groups in an effort to unseat President Barack Obama. The Hispanic vote was a key demographic in several swing states. Efforts to pick up a larger share of Hispanic voters failed, however. Nationally, President Obama received 71 percent of the Hispanic vote--the highest since 1996.
