Before moving the Grand Trunk Western Railway's Smiths Creek Depot from Smiths Creek, Michigan, to Greenfield Village in 1929, Henry Ford's agents took detailed photographs of the building. These photos helped the team reassemble the structure in Dearborn, Michigan. Ford built GTW a new depot at the original Smiths Creek site.
