Dave Friedman captured and preserved auto racing history through his photography. His work -- and his collection of works by other photographers -- documents key races, drivers, cars, and teams. Driver Bay Darnell made some unusual history while qualifying for the 1964 ARCA 250. He lost control of his #66 Ford Galaxie and went into Lake Lloyd in Daytona International Speedway's infield.
