Printing Plate with Image of an Automobile

01

Artifact Overview

Ford Motor Company manufactured its Model F from 1905 to 1906. Though powered by a two-cylinder engine like predecessors Model A and Model C, the Model F featured a larger body with a hood up front -- despite its engine being mounted under the front seat. About 1,000 copies were built, and prices ranged from $1,000 to $1,200.
