National Convention Delegate Ribbon, 1900 - In 1883, the Woman's Relief Corp (WRC) was recognized as an auxiliary organization to the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.), a Civil War Union veterans' association. The WRC not only supported the G.A.R.'s mission to aid Union veterans, but also assisted former Army nurses and promoted patriotism through education. WRC conventions were usually held at the same time as the ones for the G.A.R.

- Official Program of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 18th 500 Mile International Sweepstakes Race, May 30, 1930 - The eighteenth Indianapolis 500 took place on May 30, 1930. Billy Arnold, who earned the pole position with an average speed of 113.268 miles per hour, won the race after leading all but the first two of its 200 laps. Arnold also competed in the 1931 and 1932 races but got injured each time. He retired after the latter race.
