- "But What About the Workers?," 1973 - Writer and political philosopher James Boggs championed grassroots activism that encouraged all Americans to reimagine themselves and their communities from the inside out. Boggs's two decades at a Detroit Chrysler plant inspired and informed his books and pamphlets. In 1973, Boggs and James Hocker wrote <em>But What About the Workers?</em> to highlight the plight of working-class Black Americans.
