Laboratory Cathode Ray Tube Oscilloscope, 1926-1931
- National Union Type 2203 Monotron Television Tube, 1938 - The Monotron tube was used in the early development, study, and servicing of television receivers, prior to World War II. This special cathode ray tube used electrostatic deflection to produce test patterns and adjust television sets. The tube produces a unique test pattern: it contains a halftone image of Mary Eastman (a popular radio vocalist) printed onto an aluminum plate.

- Ken-Rad Cathode Ray Tube, Model 6G5 "Magic-Eye," circa 1937 - "Magic Eye" was the generic name for a type of cathode ray tube, commonly used for radio tuning. When the radio was tuned in to a strong station, a glowing green ring around a central cathode light shield would resemble a glowing "eye," hence the popular name.
