- Advertising Poster for the 1911 Ford Model T Sold by Ford Dealer Henri Depasse, Paris and Neuilly, France, 1910-1911 - Ford Motor Company opened its first international sales branch, in Paris, France, in 1908. The Paris office became the heart of Ford's marketing efforts throughout the European continent. The company established a French subsidiary, Ford France, in 1916. This French-language poster advertised Henri Depasse's dealerships in Paris and Neuilly. Depasse opened his first Ford dealership in 1908.

It was the largest passenger ship ever built at the time of its launch in 1858. In 1866, the <em>Great Eastern</em> was converted to lay the second--and first successful--transatlantic cable. During its career, this ship laid multiple submarine communication cables totaling over 32,000 miles.

- Poster, Edison Kinetoscope Motion Picture, "Pastime Moving Picture Show," 1904-1906 - This early movie poster was probably used by traveling exhibitors or at amusement parks to advertise short motion pictures viewed on the Edison Projecting Kinetoscope in small movie houses throughout the United States. The number of exhibitors proliferated in this period creating the need for generic types of posters to advertise a wide variety of short motion pictures.

- Racing Poster, "Coupe Gordon Bennett 1909, Curtiss le Gagnant" - James Gordon Bennett, Jr., owner and publisher of the <em>New York Herald</em>, sponsored a series of aviation contests from 1909 to 1920. The Gordon Bennett Aviation Trophy went to the pilot who covered a set distance in the fastest time. American pilot Glenn Curtiss won the inaugural prize in 1909. Bennett sponsored similar competitions for gas balloons and automobiles.
