- Mr. & Mrs. Henry Austin Clark, Jr. in 1910 Buick Model 10 at Long Island Automotive Museum, June 29, 1956 - Henry Austin Clark, Jr., collected more than 200 cars, trucks and firefighting vehicles throughout his lifetime. Many were displayed in the Long Island Automotive Museum, which he operated from 1948 to 1980. Clark's 1910 Buick Model 10 Toy Tonneau was restored by Charles Chayne, chief engineer at Buick from 1936 to 1951.

Many were displayed in the Long Island Automotive Museum, which he operated from 1948 to 1980. Clark's 1910 Buick Model 10 Toy Tonneau was restored by Charles Chayne, chief engineer at Buick from 1936 to 1951.
- "War Time Savings," Sent to Andrew Purnell, Postmarked December 2, 1918 - Andrew Purnell Jr. (1898-1975) was born in Selma, Alabama. He joined the all-Black 303rd Stevedore Regiment (with later unit designations) in December 1917. Private Purnell was stationed in Bordeaux, France. He returned to the U.S. in 1919, married, and worked as a railroad freight handler. Like many service members, Purnell kept cards, letters, photographs, and souvenirs from his time in the military.

- Cleoda and Della Davis on the Steps of their Home, circa 1925 - Cleoda Davis (1899-1964) migrated from North Carolina during World War I, where he found work at a shipbuilding company in River Rouge, Michigan. He later worked as a pipe fitter for a chemical company in Detroit. In the early 1920s, Davis married Della Louise Massey (1902-1998) of North Carolina.

Russell Morash produced the show, and home gardeners relished the sage advice of gardeners Jim Crockett, Bob Thomson, and others over the years. A segment on cooking for gardeners became a regular feature when chef Marian Morash, Russell's wife, joined the series. <em>The Victory Garden</em> (under other titles) ended its 40-year run in 2015.
