The lawn chairs, swiveling patio umbrellas, colorful gardens, and picturesque footbridge in this postcard enticed potential guests. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Guidry, the owners and managers, also advertised that each of their homey-looking cottages had heat and private baths.
