William Harley, along with brothers Arthur, Walter and William Davidson, founded Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1903. Within 20 years it was the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer. This poster from the late 1930s encourages motorcycling as a way to see America, from New York's Statue of Liberty to California's Donner Lake.
