Summary

The 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago commemorated the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus' landing in the Americas. Officials judged these works against a list of criteria and awarded certificates and bronze medallions. Prouty and Company received this medallion for its printing presses.
