Bingo Game, 1939-1955

Summary

Now primarily associated with churches and senior centers, bingo has also been produced as a game for the home. Bingo cards are comprised of a grid of 25 numbers. As the caller yells out the alphanumeric picks, players cover the board when they have a match. When five in a row are covered -- down, across, or diagonal -- "bingo!" is shouted.
