The body is dropped onto the chassis of the fifteen millionth Model T on May 26, 1927. This particular car marked a symbolic end for the Model T after 19 years in production. Henry Ford and Edsel Ford drove the car from Highland Park to Dearborn in a ceremony attended by Ford Motor Company officials and members of the press.
