Card Game, 1830-1850

01

Artifact Overview

Conversation cards, usually made for adult partygoers, consist of question and answer cards. Couples choose cards at random. One reads a question card, the other an answer card. The answer, when read, could start conversations or produce laughter at the nonsensical response. This set was made in the mid-1800s by an unknown printer.
