01
Artifact Overview
Go-go boots were white, low-heeled fashion boots introduced in the mid-1960s. Go-go boots were worn by dancers in nightclubs or on television shows such as "Hollywood a Go-Go"--shows teens watched for the live music, dancing, and hip fashions. Charlene LePage of Allen Park, Michigan, wore these go-go boots as young teen.
