As automobile engines became more sophisticated, so did the tools used to test and repair them. Sun Electric Corporation produced its first testing equipment in 1931 and soon became a leading name in automotive engine diagnostics. This 1952 catalog features Sun's "Master Motor Tester," which combined the functions of several different testing instruments into a single unit.
