The Overland Limited ran between Los Angeles and Chicago over the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway. The train operated from 1901 until 1915. Le Grande Station, visible in the background, opened in 1893 and served the Santa Fe in Los Angeles until it was damaged by an earthquake in 1933.
