In its day, the upscale Partio was perhaps the ultimate backyard cooking appliance -- an all-in-one electric range, charcoal barbeque, and rotisserie. User's manuals -- like this one that accompanied the Partio owned by President Eisenhower -- instructed owners on the proper care and operation of this outdoor cooking center.
