Ferrari dominated the 1964 running of the 12 Hours of Sebring, but race fans and observers were surprised by the strong showing from Carroll Shelby's Cobras. Shelby's cars swept the top three spots in the GT class. Drivers Bob Holbert and Dave MacDonald took first in the GT class (fourth overall) with their #10 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe.
