Frank Kulick was Ford Motor Company's top factory racing driver from 1904 to 1913. He earned trophies and headlines by competing in Ford-powered cars throughout the United States. Kulick crashed in October 1907 when a rear wheel collapsed on his race car. The accident left him with a fractured kneecap, a broken leg, and a lifelong limp.
