This handmade picket sign was carried by physicist and gay civil rights activist Frank Kameny at Philadelphia's Annual Reminder March on July 4, 1969. This event occurred one week after the Stonewall Uprising in NYC. The Annual Reminder marches were quiet and calculated, emphasizing the powerful messaging on picketers' signs rather than unruly and rebellious forms of protest.
