Artifact Overview

Ford Motor Company sold almost five million Model A cars over the 1928-1931 model years, but this one had a special owner: Henry Ford. Unusual equipment included custom upholstery, cowl ventilators, experimental brake drums, and a socket in the rear window shelf to hold a bottle of Mr. Ford's favorite mineral water. The black paint was accented with red striping.
