Artifact Overview

Ford Motor Company's trucks received small design changes to their radiator shells and wheels for 1936. The sedan delivery truck, seen here, was popular with grocers, druggists and other businesses offering delivery services. The body's 73-cubic-foot capacity accommodated a variety of cargoes, and the side sign panels could be replaced with glass display windows if the customer chose.
