Table tennis is an adaptation of (lawn) tennis that is played indoors on a table. Developed in the late 1800s, this game was known by several different names each with varying rules and equipment. Table tennis enjoyed a revival in the 1920s and the game was standardized. J. Pressman and Company manufactured this children's set during the game's revival.
