On back, upper left corner, is another message, also written by George Dewees: Keep in good cheer and God will not allow the wicked to conquer, Give my best respects to all your brave companions in your Company and Regiment (the Gallant 93rd) if I could only stand by you Shoulder to Shoulder I would try to give them Hell.
