1932 Ford V-8 Coupe Parked in Front of Grocery Market
01
Artifact Overview
Ford Motor Company's 1932 lineup replaced the Model A after its four-year run. The all-new cars featured crowned fenders, prominent grilles, and gracefully curved tie-bars between the headlights. The handsome appearance was overshadowed by Ford's available new V-8 engine -- a first in the low-price field. The two-door V-8 roadster model started at $460. Calendar year production totaled 287,285 units.
