McDonald's Packet, 1955-1962

01

Artifact Overview

In 1948, the McDonald brothers transformed their Southern California drive-in into the fast food concept that we know today. Early on, the McDonald brothers used the Speedee logo to symbolize their new "Speedee Service System." The "Coast to Coast" claim implies that, by the time of this French Fry packet, McDonald's restaurants were being nationally franchised.
