Teletubbies "Dipsy" Figure, 1998
01
Artifact Overview
Teletubbies -- Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po -- first said "Eh-oh!" in 1997. The show about the colorful, television-in-their-tummies foursome encouraged preschoolers to be active, creative explorers -- and have fun! The award-winning BBC show captivated one to four year olds -- the intended audience -- and created an adult following as well. Again! Again!
