01

Artifact Overview

Chevrolet introduced its mid-size Celebrity for 1982. The versatile front-wheel-drive model was offered in two- and four-door sedan versions and, starting with 1984, as a four-door station wagon. Engine options over the years ranged from a 152-cubic-inch inline-4 to a 262-cubic-inch diesel-fueled V-6. Chevy ended Celebrity production after 1990 as families shifted from sedans and wagons to minivans.
