Artifact Overview
This chandelier once hung in the Rose Room of the original Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. Six lights illuminate the interior of a bowl made of purple glass and attributed to the renowned Tiffany Studios. Another fifteen lights surround the exterior. This ostentatious brass and glass lighting device was a fitting fixture for one of America's grand hotels.
