Artifact Overview
Horace Lucien Arnold, a correspondent for Engineering Magazine, recognized the significance of Ford Motor Company's moving assembly line and began a series of detailed articles on it in 1914. After Arnold's untimely death in early 1915, Fay Leone Faurote continued the project. The finished articles were then combined and published in book form as Ford Methods and the Ford Shops.
