01
Artifact Overview
New-car dealers sometimes gave away promotional scale models of their latest cars. This model represents a 1959 Chevrolet Impala four-door hardtop sedan. Impala was Chevy's top-of-the-line series that year. These deluxe cars featured additional trim and badging, and they came standard with electric clocks and dual sliding sun visors. The four-door Impala hardtop with a V-8 started at $2,782.
