The Howard Miller Clock Company of Zeeland, Michigan, produced this clock in 1955. The design, attributed to George Nelson, incorporates a wood disk and metal wire rays with shaped wire loops at the ends. Numbers weren't needed in this modern expression of design. People could tell the time by the position of the hands.
