The Panama-Pacific International Exposition celebrated the 1914 completion of the Panama Canal and the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the Pacific Ocean. The fair also provided the opportunity for companies across the country to advertise to millions of people. This paper fan, distributed to fairgoers, promoted Shidzuoka Japan Tea, which was available at the exhibition.
