Ford Motor Company operated sales and service branches, as well as assembly plants, in cities around the world. Ford opened its first Copenhagen, Denmark, assembly plant in 1919. It was replaced by a bigger, better facility in 1924. Copenhagen-built cars were sold in Scandinavia, the Baltic states, Poland, Ukraine, and parts of Germany. Output reached 600 cars a day.
