The 2000 presidential election between George W. Bush and Al Gore was one of the most contentious in U.S. history. When Gore contested the highly controversial election results in Florida that gave Bush the victory, Bush supporters produced these signs mocking Gore and vice presidential candidate, Senator Joseph Lieberman.
