Morro Bay State Park, located on California's coast roughly halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, was established in 1934. In the park's early years, many improvements were built through the Works Progress Administration. The park remains a popular spot for sailing, hiking, bird watching, and -- as the anglers in this photo could attest -- fishing.
