On April 16, 1938, what would have been Wilbur Wright's 71st birthday, Henry Ford dedicated the Wright Home and Wright Cycle Shop in Greenfield Village. Ford relocated both buildings to Dearborn from their original locations in Dayton, Ohio. A craftsperson in Greenfield Village knitted this sock to commemorate the occasion.
