01

Artifact Overview

The TPC-I is a portable computer created by the TeleVideo Corporation. The company's success peaked in the early-1980s, manufacturing early multi-user systems and video display terminals. Released in 1984, the TPC-I was their only "luggable" system. Its CP/M operating system, central processing unit, design, and basic function were nearly identical to Osborne's Model 1, released three years prior.
