Fisher-Price "Little People" Figure, circa 1975
01
Artifact Overview
Fisher-Price introduced small, peg-like figures -- later known as "Little People" -- in 1959. As part of colorful playsets, these human and animal figures helped small children imagine big adventures. "Little People" lived in houses and on farms and traveled in planes, boats, and automobiles, then were transported to kitchen tables, living room floors, and bedroom nightstands, anywhere little hands carried them.
