Artifact Overview

Finnish fashion model Nina Rindt married Austrian racing driver Jochen Rindt in 1967. Nina attended many of her husband's races, where she handled lap scoring and time keeping duties for his team. In 1970, Jochen was killed during practice but won that year's Formula One World Drivers' Championship posthumously. Nina accepted the Champion Challenge Trophy on her late husband's behalf.
