1938 Hupmobile Sales Brochure, "A Distinguished Old Name on a Brilliant New Car"

01

Artifact Overview

During the 1930s, designers applied popular streamlined shapes to everything, even old name automobiles. This 1938 ad depicts people stopping and staring at the modern-looking "brilliant" new Hupmobile. The distinguished Hupp Motor Car Company, as the ad suggests, had "always built a good car." Its vehicles were now stylish, too.
