Howard F. Hobbs published a series of travel guides that gave "helpful, honest information not obtainable from any other source." The guides contained a map and road surface quality charts. Also helpful were lists of local hotels, cottages, auto camps, and mechanical services and dealerships. This 1932 guide covered the eastern section of U.S. 30, formerly the Lincoln Highway.
