In this 1949 sales brochure, Plymouth pointed out the usefulness of its Suburban for hunters, campers, farmers, and a variety of businessmen. But families also would come to embrace this and other makes of station wagons. In the 1950s, parents found a wagon an ideal vehicle for one important reason -- transporting a growing family.
