This 1924 Star sales catalog describes various models. One was the station wagon. In 1923, this Star model became the first manufacturer-produced station wagon. These early wagons were utility vehicles "for town and country, for express and passenger station service, city delivery or general farm use." Station wagons had not yet become the family-friendly vehicle we remember today.
