Lyn St. James's drive and determination led to a successful racing career. St. James competed in top races around the world, including seven appearances at the Indianapolis 500 from 1992 through 2000. J.C. Penney was her primary Indy 500 sponsor in the early 1990s. The department store chain celebrated that partnership with this trophy given to St. James in 1994.
